Guest Services & Reception

Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly check-in / check-out experience
Handle guest inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
Answer phone calls and emails professionally and promptly
Assist with special requests such as room preferences, early check-in, or late check-out

Reservation & Booking Management

Process new reservations, modifications, and cancellations

Confirm booking details and ensure accuracy in the hotel's reservation system

Upsell rooms and services to maximize revenue

Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for guests

Financial Transactions

Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and room charges

Handle billing inquiries and provide receipts

Manage refunds, deposits, and incidental charges

Reconcile the front desk cash drawer at the end of the shift

Problem-Solving & Guest Satisfaction

Address guest complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary

Resolve room key or access issues

Assist with lost-and-found inquiries

Coordinate with maintenance for any room issues or urgent repairs

Security & Safety Procedures

Verify guest identification and maintain accurate records

Monitor and report any suspicious activities

Follow emergency procedures in case of fire, medical emergencies, or security threats
