Preventative Maintenance Technician – Job Summary
Position requires Technician with desire and aptitude to increase their skill set and maintain a high- quality level on diagnostic and repair functions.
Preventative Maintenance Technician – Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on small and medium size trucks.
- Perform inspections and make recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
- Follow checklists to assure all items required for PM are checked and addressed if necessary.
- Accurately document steps taken to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Wear personal protective equipment and follow safety procedures and policies.
- Work along side more experienced techs to assist them and also participate in training opportunities.
- Participate in on-line manufacturing training.
Requirements
Preventative Maintenance – Position Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability tp accurately document work performed on repair orders
- Ability to work underneath trucks.
- Ability to be able to climb up into trucks.
- Ability to use hand tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs/push-pull 75lbs
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT.
