FULL TIME Emergency Medical Technician position for rural 911 system. Schedule is a 24/48 hour rotation. Current Indiana E.M.T. Certification, and CPR certification required. Driving, record, criminal background, and pre employment drug testing required for employment.
Employees must be prepared to work independently, and as a team member. - All aspects of emergency medical care as defined within the Indiana EMS scope of practice. Benton County is a 911 only service, with two staffed ambulances, and an integral part of emergency response in a rural setting. Uniforms provided, and paid training are provided.

Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care and support to patients in various settings, ensuring airway management and basic life support are administered as needed.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations to determine the appropriate course of action.
- Safely transport patients while adhering to critical care protocols, including administering injections and managing medical equipment.
- Operate emergency vehicles responsibly and efficiently to transport patients to hospitals or trauma centers.
- Maintain CPR certification, IDHS EMT Certification, and stay updated on best practices in emergency medical services.
- Daily duties of routine cleaning, maintenance, and maintaining living space.

Pay: $43,858.00 - $53,980.00 per year
