MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - 2ND AND 3RD SHIFTS.
Recently awarded "Metalcaster of the Year", Benton Foundry is a third-generation, family-owned company, and we want YOU to be a part of our exciting future! We are currently looking for dedicated individuals to fill Maintenance Technician vacancies.
This posting is for second and third-shift positions only.
As a Maintenance Technician in our foundry, your responsibilities may include:
- Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Completes Maintenance work orders as assigned.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician.
- Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
- Assists with maintenance of the facilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- On-the-job training offered.
- Company-paid training opportunities available.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work at heights.
Successful candidate must have their own basic hand tools. Excellent attendance is also required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $33.00 per hour
