Requirements
• Education: Master’s degree in educational leadership, Public Administration, or a
related field (Doctorate preferred).
• Experience: Proven track record of successful leadership in an educational setting,
with experience serving as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, or in a
comparable executive leadership role.
• Certification: Ability to attain Arkansas Superintendent licensure within 60 days of
hire.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in strategic planning, financial management, and organizational
development.
• Deep understanding of curriculum design, instructional practices, and student
assessment.
• Ability to navigate complex challenges and drive sustainable solutions.
• Track record of meeting ambitious and meaningful goals through management of
large teams.
• Willingness to relocate and live within Benton school district.
Compensation and Benefits
The Superintendent of Schools for Benton Public Schools will receive a highly competitive
compensation package, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The salary will be
representative of the significant responsibilities and leadership required for this role. Benefits
include insurance, transportation allowances, annual vacations, holidays, and any other
entitlements as deemed appropriate by the Board of Directors.
