What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant F&B Grill Manager (Front of House) position at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club?
Essential Functions include but not limited to the following:
- Ensure all staff are trained and certified according to the training procedures set forth by management.
- Supervise floor shift.
- Maintain positive relationships with the entire F&B team.
- Work as a leader whether on a “training” shift or not.
- Greet members and guests and provide with the highest quality of service in a friendly manner.
- Complete all required set-up and break-down duties in accordance with set standards.
- Be responsible for details of your section of the dining room, ensure the table is set correctly, and make sure the tables are set; salt, pepper, and sugar caddies are clean and full.
- Expedite all ordered menu items in the kitchen and ensure they go out correctly.
- Check bulletin board for any messages or special information.
- Adhere to all company cash handling procedures.
- Close out all food and beverage checks as they are paid.
- Monitor and record all voids, deletions, and discounts or comps with a supervisor/manager’s signature.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines, food safety, and alcoholic beverage regulations.
- Perform opening and closing procedures in accordance with set standards.
- Diffuse customer complaints.
- Delegate basic tasks to staff.
- Ensure all steps of service as outlined in training material are being followed.
- Leading other outlets as requested for CMF and special events.
- Ensure is equipment is maintained properly by submitting work orders for equipment in need of repair.
- Fulfill any additional request made by F&B Senior Management in regards to your position.
