What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive technician position at Benz Elite Automotive?
Family owned and operated automotive shop specializing in German vehicles.
We are looking for a technician with experience to join our team. Must have good diagnostic abilities.
NO WEEKENDS! Our hours are Monday - Friday, 7 : 30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Paid holidays! Pay is based on knowledge and skills.
Requirements :
- Must have own tools.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must be dependable / punctual.
- Must have good driving record.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose cars based on observation and mechanical testing, and from information provided by customer.
- Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issues and repair estimates.
- Test drive cars after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine if any other problems exist.
- ASE certification helpful but not required.
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools.
