General Description
The Director, Executive Protection works closely with the Office of the CEO and has support from the Global Security Team. This position reports to the Vice President of Workplace Services with a dotted line reporting to the Office of the CEO. The Director should be a strategic thinker and innovative problem solver, skilled in design and execution of effective protection programs, enterprise awareness, crisis, and ESRM programs. The individual should also possess leadership, team building, and technical strengths that generate confidence in BeOne’s Global Security program internally and externally. They must also commit to embrace the corporate culture to achieve business objectives with a proven history of over-producing on stated goals and objectives. Position is required to be in the San Carlos office daily and is not a remote position.
Essential Functions
College degree or requisite 10 years' experience in corporate security, military, or law enforcement.
Bachelors degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate security, military, or law enforcement.
Other Qualifications
10-15 years progressive executive protection security and event security management experience required. Previous experience, executive protection, law enforcement/military experience desired; multi-lingual capabilities a plus. Knowledge of corporate jet brokers and ability to manage the many changes of a CEO.
Role requires 24x7 support and on call for Office of the CEO. Remain calm and provide guidance in a crisis. US Drivers License. Exemplary customer service skills and cultural sensitivity
Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee drivers that are contract staff or bull time BeOne employees.
Travel: 30% domestic and international.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Business applications; ability to create data base/case management.

Essential Functions
- EP Security for Board Meetings and any other meetings CEO attends
- Management of Drivers both full time and contract personnel including schedule
- Daily EP Security for CEO and family
- Daily Protective Intelligence/Site Advance/Risk Assessment for CEO and family
- Own and manage home security network, gates, locks, fence, etc for protection of property and family
- Night Security when requested
- Develop proactive mitigation strategies to address potential risks
- Schedule Jet Service for CEO or family when requested
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Executive Protection strategy aligned with corporate security objectives.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of executive travel security, including advance planning, logistics, and real-time monitoring
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency response protocols.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, private security firms, and government entities as necessary.
- Collaborate with corporate security, legal, HR, and communications teams to align protection strategies with business needs.
- Work closely with travel and logistics teams to ensure seamless executive movements globally.
- Provide executive security training and awareness sessions for key personnel.
- Develop and manage the executive protection budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising security.
- Ensure appropriate allocation of resources for high-risk travel and events.
- Maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality in all security matters.
