Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong and demonstrated background of fast, expedient and accurate response times to customers with exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This critical role requires you to be the customer champion in all situations. You will need to advocate on behalf of the customer with internal stakeholders, will need to have the ability to stay calm and manage difficult situations, work well under pressure, while also being proactive in managing customer orders for the best service and delivery.

Responsibilities

Order Processing & Customer Interaction

  • Accurately enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system, ensuring correctness in product selection, pricing, and shipping details.
  • Provide order status updates, tracking information, and issue resolution in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and proactively offer solutions.

Product & Process Knowledge

  • Gain expertise in graphic label materials, adhesives, and printing processes to better assist customers.
  • Identify and report quality or process issues, working with the operations team to implement corrective actions.
  • Educate customers on material options, printing compatibility, and performance attributes to ensure they select the best product for their application.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Work closely with production, planning, and logistics teams to align customer expectations with production capacity.
  • Communicate customer requirements to purchasing for necessary material sourcing.
  • Assist in inventory management coordination by flagging potential stock shortages or delays.

Technology & System Efficiency

  • Utilize ERP and CRM systems to process orders and manage customer records efficiently.
  • Support team members in system training and process improvements for better efficiency.
  • Handle multi-channel inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in customer service.
  • Strong relationship management skills.
  • Ability to interact with professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Friendly with a professional tone and phone manner.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The ability to recognize and evaluate technical issues and limitations is required. The ability to define and manage expectations is critical. The ability to make sound decisions and actions is required.
