Job Title: Aerospace Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Design Engineer to support design initiatives for aerospace components such as starters, pneumatic valves, actuators, motors, and solenoids. This role involves 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation using NX and Teamcenter, applying ASME standards and GD&T practices. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a collaborative spirit to support critical aerospace projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and refine 3D models and 2D drawings using NX and Teamcenter, adhering to ASME standards and GD&T.
- Design aerospace components such as starters, valves, actuators, and solenoids.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers, support RMRA assessments, and engage in Cast to Hogout processes.
- Leverage engineering judgment and experience to meet project goals.
- Manage complex tasks independently with expected creativity and latitude.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 8 years of engineering experience, preferably in aerospace.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, casting, forging, and environmental testing (including EMI).
- Proficient in NX and Teamcenter for aerospace design applications.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
- Work Arrangement: Onsite for first 3 months, then Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 remote)
- Location: Tempe, AZ
- Interview Process: Phone screen with Hiring Manager, followed by a TEAMS interview with HM and team member
- Pay Rate: $52.00 – $56.00/hr
