Employment Type: W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $80–$100/hr
Contract Length: 10 months (extensions based on business needs and performance)
Role Overview
BEPC is actively seeking a Manufacturing Execution System Consultant to join our growing team of consultants. In this fully onsite role, you will support Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO), a state-of-the-art drug product manufacturing facility. Your focus will be on MES recipe authoring using PharmaSuite to support tech transfer projects across manufacturing operations.
This position plays a key role in configuring digital batch records, ensuring compliance, and supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Author MES (PharmaSuite) recipes and develop software for digital batch records.
- Troubleshoot MES execution issues and integrate business system solutions.
- Ensure compliance with design principles, validation procedures, and quality protocols.
- Develop and execute qualification test plans for MES implementations.
- Translate tech transfer requirements into functional MES configurations.
- Document and manage recipe requirements and design specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to finalize recipes and workflows.
- Maintain alignment with core practices including validation and documentation standards.
- Contribute to business process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Provide MES consulting to value stream business owners and project teams.
- Participate in global initiatives to standardize PharmaSuite MES templates.
- Provide after-hours on-call support at least one week per month.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical), Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in MES implementation, ideally with PharmaSuite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven project management abilities and multitasking capability.
- Experience in validation, test scripting, and performance analysis under GMP.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering and business teams.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes in pharmaceutical environments is a plus.
