Description :
The Cell Therapy Department is seeking a self-motivated and intellectually curious Research Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a skilled lab-based stem cell biologist who is driven to contribute to a rigorous scientific and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be integral to setting up the Cell Therapy laboratory and make impactful contributions towards meeting the department’s goals. This is a two-year position with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities :
- Execute protocols to maintain and differentiate induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
- Perform analytical workflows encompassing but not limited to gene-based assays and cell-based assays.
- Data acquisition, analysis, interpretation and communication of findings in internal scientific meetings.
- Coordination of equipment on-boarding and maintenance.
- Maintain compliance with lab safety, training and documentation.
- Occasional weekend work and lifting ~25lbs.
