Bepc, Inc has an open position for a Senior QA Automation Engineer in Texas!
W2 Contract 5 months with the possibility of extensions
Location : Remote within Texas (Austin TX, Zip code 78751 for on-site visits)
Hourly Rate : Up to $56 / hr
Develop and execute automated test scripts for application workflows.
Maintain and update Unified Functional Testing (UFT) test suites for regression testing.
Prepare and load test data into databases.
Execute test scripts, log results, and document defects with detailed reproduction steps.
Utilize analysis and diagramming tools to represent business processes.
Ensure testing aligns with best practices and agency standards.
Required Skills and Experience
Proficiency in database query languages such as SQL and PL / SQL.
Strong experience in developing test suites using UFT or similar automation tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with peers and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in developing Requirements Traceability Matrices.
Proficiency in writing and executing test scripts and test plans.
Familiarity with coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Knowledge of general IT SDLC processes.
Experience using JIRA for task management in Agile environments.
Hands-on experience working on Agile project management methodologies.
Work Hours and Terms
Start Date : March 1, 2025
End Date : August 31, 2025 (with potential extensions).
Total Hours : Up to 1,120 hours.
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM CST.
Work Location :
Remote within Texas; candidates must already reside within the state.
No travel reimbursement : all travel-related costs are the candidate's responsibility.
Additional Terms and Conditions
Candidates must be available for occasional on-site visits at the Austin office.
A criminal background check is required before issuing a purchase order.
