BEPC has an open position for a Sr Accounting Analyst
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid, 3 days onsite MANDATORY)

Pay Rate: $76.31 – $79.31 Per hour with weekly pay!!!
Term: 6-month contract with possible extensions or permanency based on performance
Shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, 5-10 years of Accounting experience, SAP ERP & MS Excel (Index Map)
Job Description:
This position is a key member of the accounting team that ensures timely completion of period close process and review of account reconciliations. This position also assists internal or external audit requirements and various regulatory requirements and support business partners by providing accurate accounting information to enable sound decisions and drive management actions.
Requirements:
· Perform accounting activities.
· Perform the month-end close process.
· Review and reconcile month-end data reports for respective journal entries.
· Evaluate accuracy and reasonableness of financial information provided by business partners.
· Perform month end closing activities, including preparing, recording, and/or reviewing journal entries.
· Ensure balances reflected in the financial statements are accurate.
· Prepare, analyze and review monthly reports and stand-alone and consolidated fluctuation analyses.
· Coordinate internal and external audit requests
· Support key company and department initiatives
· Propose and implement improvements to existing analyses and develop additional analyses and activity metrics to meet changing business and informational needs
Must have:
· Strong accounting background, independent, problem solver, dig into details, good analytical skills, proactive, resourceful, good communication skill.
· Intermediate exp in MS Excel (index map).
· SAP and CPA (preferred).
· Four-Year College Degree (BA or BS]
· 5-10 years of relevant work experience
· Strong accounting understanding and expertise
· Strong written documentation and written and oral communication
· Strong analytical skills, initiative; ability to multi-task
· Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Added bonus if you have (Preferred):
· Public accounting experience with national firm
· Advanced Degree. Specify: Accounting
· Experience working with ERP application. SAP preferred
· Certified Public Accountant License
