Pay Rate Range: $50 - $60/hr. (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking multiple Principal Systems engineers to join our Jet Engine/Turbofan Propulsion Project Engineering team. We are looking for project and program leaders who can quickly integrate into the team and assist in planning, estimating, baselining, and executing complex turbofan engine design and aircraft integration efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, estimate, baseline, and execute complex turbofan engine design and aircraft integration projects.
• Work with aircraft OEMs, customers, and other key stakeholders.
• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
• Utilize program management, EVMS, Cost Account management, Jira/Agile tools, and requirements-based systems engineering skills.
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in engine design, turbofan or fan module design, engine module lead, and aircraft integration or aircraft/propulsion engine certification and testing.
• Strong program management skills and experience with EVMS, Cost Account management, Jira/Agile tools, and requirements-based systems engineering.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
• Experience working with aircraft OEMs and other key stakeholders.
• Local to the Phoenix, Arizona area. Or willing to relocate within very short timeframe.
Work Arrangement:
• Full-time, on-site attendance required for the first 6 months.
• Post 6 months, up to 2 days remote and 3 days on-site.
