Contract W2 Period: 6-month contract with possibilities for extensions
Pay & Benefits: $30.00 - $32.34/hr. Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance
5 Days Onsite - Chance to change to Hybrid Role (3 days OFC/ 2 days WFH) after 90 day review
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
· 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience.
· Proficient with Excel.
· Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
· Knowledge of buying strategies, supplier relations, and cost control.
· Proficient in procurement software and tools including Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
NICE TO HAVE:
· SAP Experience.
· Planning Experience.
· Aerospace background.
· JIT
· Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
· Continuous learning and self-development.
DUTIES
· Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
· Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
· Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
· Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
· Works under immediate supervision.
· Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
· Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
