Job Summary:
We are seeking a Facilities Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and validation of facility-related projects. This role will be responsible for managing equipment and facility validations, addressing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), processing Change Orders (COs), and ensuring project management best practices are followed within the facilities engineering domain. The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering-based project management, compliance with regulatory standards, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage facilities engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Oversee the validation of equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, GMP, ISO).
- Review, track, and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) related to facility operations and engineering processes.
- Process and implement Change Orders (COs) for facility modifications, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including validation protocols, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions related to facilities engineering issues.
- Ensure that all engineering projects adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field).
- 5-7 years of experience in facilities engineering, equipment validation, or related project management roles.
- Strong knowledge of NCRs, COs, equipment validation, and facilities engineering project management.
- Experience working in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, or manufacturing preferred).
- Familiarity with industry standards such as GMP, FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and OSHA requirements.
- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar software).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with facility infrastructure systems (HVAC, cleanrooms, utilities, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience in structured project management methodologies.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
