BEPC has an open position for a Financial Analyst

Location: Fombell, PA

Pay Rate: $33.00 – $36.00 Per hour with weekly pay!!!

Term: 4-month contract with possible extensions or permanency based on performance

Hours: 1st shift from 8AM – 5PM

Requirements: BA degree & 1 years of Accounting or Finance experience and SAP is a must

Job Description:

Manage and assist Plant Controller in plant spend forecasting and analysis, cost accounting, financial closing/reporting, and inventory management activities while ensuring internal controls are in place and being followed for the Colonial Heights site, Precon, and multiple Spectra Toller locations

Position Responsibilities:

· Perform month-end closing responsibilities including preparing journal entries, ensuring monthly transactions are correctly recorded, analyzing, reporting and presenting spending, production credits, MUV, inventory adjustments and PPV performance

· Analyze and report financial results on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual basis vs. prior year, plan, and forecast

· Assist department managers in developing monthly forecasts and weekly pluses (operations, maintenance, HR, engineering, HSE)

· Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly, develop action plans and lead resolution on accounts

· Support development of the site’s annual operating plan and annual strategic plan

· Coordinate and assist with multiple annual physical inventories, storeroom inventory, and fixed asset audits

· Assist site personnel, Accounts Payable, and Procurement with the resolution of blocked invoice payments as necessary

· Maintain/improve strong internal control processes and educate site through monthly finance learning series

· Support new product cost

· Implement financial process improvements to reduce cycle times, automate work, improve forecast quality, and enhance reporting and analysis processes

· Identify cost savings and productivity projects and track savings

· Special projects, ad hoc analysis, and other duties as required

Qualifications – Required:

· 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance

· Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting or finance position

Qualifications – Preferred

· SAP experience

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

· Ability to understand plant and business activities with a view broader than just the finance function

· Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and communicate financial data to non-financial personnel

· Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills

· Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

· Self-motivated and results oriented, proactive, able to prioritize to meet deadlines
