BEPC Inc. is searching for an Advanced Software Engineer in Phoenix, AZ.
CONTRACT W2: 5 month contract with possible extensions.
PAY AND BENEFITS: $55.00 75.00/hr. (BOE) medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
1st Shift: 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
Authoring and Reviewing Certification Documents: Create and review documents such as PSAC, SDD, SWCIA, and other OEM specific documents for certification.
Coding in C : Perform coding at the application level for real-time operating system software.
Understanding and Implementing DO-178C Standards: Ensure compliance with DO-178C software standards throughout the software lifecycle.
Supporting the SURF-A Initiative: Contribute to the EGPW product line and potentially other projects like Datalink.
Experience:
Extensive experience with DO-178C software standards and lifecycle.
Proven track record of authoring and reviewing certification documents.
Strong proficiency in C for application-level coding in real-time operating systems.
Familiarity with industry standards and customer-specific requirements, particularly those of Airbus.
Skills:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in C programming and deep understanding of DO-178C standards and software lifecycle.
Documentation Skills: Ability to author and review complex certification documents.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to changing requirements.

Work Environment: Remote work is acceptable based on the candidate's experience, with a preference for hybrid work if the candidate is located in Phoenix.
