Job Description :
Seeking a Software Engineer 3 to support the in developing and maintaining enterprise-class applications. This role focuses on front-end / UI development within a J2EE / Portal application framework and requires expertise in Angular, JavaScript, and UI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in responsive web design, accessibility compliance, and Agile development methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance front-end / UI components for social services applicationsCollaborate with users and stakeholders to analyze system requirements and design specificationsImplement authentication, authorization, caching strategies, and best UI / UX practicesCreate and maintain testable, reusable modules and componentsConduct performance tuning and optimize UI frameworksDevelop UI applications in compliance with ADA / Accessibility standardsUtilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) with tools such as Karma, Jasmine, SeleniumWork in an Agile / Scrum environment, participating in code reviews, debugging, and testingProvide application support for web-based Java applications within a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)Required Qualifications
8 years of Hands-on experience in Front End / UI development, enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications using Angular and / or similar frameworks on the J2EE application development platform8 years of Hands-on experience participating in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle)8 years of Hands-on UI development experience implementing Authentication and Authorization, Caching strategies8 years of Hands-on programming experience in following languages : HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5 / ES6, NPM, Maven and / or other UI frameworks / libraries.8 years of Demonstrable experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining an enterprise-level Front End / UI application including complete ownership of the front-end stack (JavaScript / HTML / CSS, Angular and / or other UI frameworks).8 years of Experience implementing Client-facing applications with responsive design and development8 years of Experience implementing SPAs with JS or with libraries / frameworks like Angular8 years of Experience in development of self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components8 years of Strong understanding and experience of fundamental programming concepts of data structures, algorithms, performance, caching and scalability issues in the context of Web based UI applications8 years of Experience in developing and testing application user interface for ADA / Accessibility Compliance8 years of Experience in implementing best practices in the areas of application design, performance, scalability and maintainability.8 years of Experience in Test-driven development and test creation using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, SeleniumPreferred Qualifications
