At Berco, we produce mission critical undercarriages for mining, construction, forestry and agriculture machinery. Together with our customers, we create long lasting solutions by combining know-how in design, forging, heat treatment, machining and assembling. We provide undercarriage components to OEMs(Original Equipment Manufacturers) for the first fit of the machines as well as the service parts to OEMs and to the independent Aftermarket.
Your responsibilities
Berco of America, Inc. seeks a Production Planning Manager in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Duties: Create production sequence for shop floor that meets requirements, and ensures that necessary raw material and supplies are available to support production plan; responsible for developing capacity plan to support customer demand; monitor deliveries from raw material suppliers and stay up to date suppliers performance; track physical logistics inventory and arrival of supplier trucks, and manage missing or late deliveries; monitor actual production performance compared to planned production activities; raise any potential customer delivery or raw material shortage, and provide updates on supplier and customer issues Materials Planning Manager; maintain summary of projected sales based on customer EDIs and demand guidance; and maintain and manage work order distribution to production areas, and plan, assign, and distribute work between production scheduler and clerk.
Your profile
Requirements: Associate’s degree in Logistics or Logistics Technology, Supply Chain Management, or closely related field of study, or foreign equivalent degree. 2 years of work experience in a Production Planning, Demand Planning, or Logistics position in the automotive or construction industry, or in a related closely related role. Must have 2 years of work experience with each of the following: using SAP-based ERP system and the SAP Production Planning Module to analyze available stock and inventory, procurement plan, customer due dates, and equipment capacity; and PC&L and supply chain management processes including planning production with high volume SKU, engaging and coordinating freight companies, optimizing production batch sizes, and finite capacity loading analysis.
