Role: Mechanic Carpenter
Client: Columbia University
Duration: 3 months (Possible extension)
Pay rate: $32/hr on w2
Location: 405 W 118th St, New York, NY 10027, USA
- Identify general tools when asked to bring them to the mechanic
- To have the ability to utilize the most basic tools; Hammer, Knife, Screwdriver, Ruler/ tape measure, Screw gun/drill (not imperative but a plus), Adjustable wrench
- Can do light demolition work, bag and clean construction waste
- 4Can go up a ladder without issues
- 5The ability to move furniture, and supplies as they come into the shop
- 6Depending on skills, may be asked to do some painting
- The ability to keep things organized for quality control and inventory control
