Location: Columbia, MO/ Lexington, KY/ Seneca, SC
Pay rate: $29 to $37/hr on w2 Interview Process:
- 1st Round: Microsoft Teams Interview (with Aaron and local plant personnel)
- 2nd/Final Round: Onsite Interview
Role Overview:
Support role focused on:
- Shipping/Packaging Assembly Execution
- Sustainable packaging implementation
- Manufacturing processes
Schedule: Monday Friday, 1st shift (no overtime expected)
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in manufacturing teams to implement NAM Primary Packaging Roadmap (PP/PS Sustainability Team)
- Research sustainable packaging options; coordinate lab testing
- Collaborate with manufacturing, process, SCH, procurement on material implementation
- Lead local teams to execute all project components
- Assist with physical modifications (labels, warehouse layout, bins, etc.)
- Procure tools, bins, fixtures, etc.
- Conduct 3F and support FAIR reporting
- Provide hyper care and resolve issues post-implementation
- Report to PP/PS Sustainability Team on progress and completion
- Analyse financial impacts (cost, cycle time, etc.)
- Support XFMEA and work instruction updates
- Document packaging process specs (layouts, capacity, workload, etc.)
- Ensure alignment with global assembly processes
- Coordinate/assist in equipment installation and validation (if required)
- Obtain plant acceptance and final sign-off per Schneider Performance System (SPS)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related
- 3 years experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering
- Component replenishment / kanban / material handling experience
- Familiarity with new product development and stage-gate processes
- Understanding of validation/verification for new product development
- Ability to work in multicultural, cross-functional teams
- Strong self-motivation and ability to manage multiple projects
- Facilitation of problem solving and project management activities
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years in manufacturing and/or process engineering
- 5 years in packaging/shipping processes and equipment
- Experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment
