This role is not just another job; it’s a chance to be a key player in ensuring the successful delivery of multifamily property loans to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (“Agency”), and it offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our operations.
You will be working closely with our talented team of closers, processors, underwriters, outside legal counsel, as well as Agency personnel.
You must bring extensive knowledge in the closing process for both Agencies ensuring seamless delivery and settlement/purchase experience, maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy throughout the process.
What You’ll Do:
Ensure Smooth Deliveries: Collaborate closely with the deal team to produce and review deliverables for both Agencies, communicating any necessary changes promptly to ensure error-free and timely deliveries.
Continuously Update Your Knowledge: Ensure comprehension of changes from the Agencies that affect deliveries, and work with the closing manager to implement necessary process adjustments.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Manage the settlement/purchase process with third-party investors or Agency and warehouse banks by transmitting required documentation promptly and collaborating with external parties to address any issues or delays.
Be the Subject Matter Expert: Maintain a thorough understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac closing and delivery requirements with a strong knowledge of general real estate practices and law.
Manage a Robust Pipeline: Efficiently manage a high volume of transactions, addressing any delays or issues promptly to maintain a smooth delivery process.
Troubleshoot and Resolve Complex Issues: Identify and resolve challenges that arise during the delivery and settlement process, ensuring all transactions are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Enhance Efficiency: Implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac closing and delivery requirements, along with general real estate practices and law. Must possess at least two years of experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac closing and deliveries.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but equivalent work experience at a minimum
Sound Judgment: Make sound judgments about when to escalate issues and ensure timely resolution.
Task Management: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Attention to Detail: Highly attentive to detail and accuracy, ensuring all deliveries meet the highest standards.
