Job Summary
The Customer Service Manager is a key member of our butcher shop team, responsible for managing the customer service experience and ensuring efficient operations. This role includes overseeing the organization and labeling of all incoming orders, managing the pickup process, and handling day-to-day store operations. Additionally, the Customer Service Manager is tasked with verifying and executing all incoming shipments, preparing daily reports, and working collaboratively with the Butcher, Deli, and Finance teams to ensure smooth store operations.
Responsibilities
- Order Management: Organize and label all incoming customer orders accurately. Ensure that orders are ready for pickup in a timely manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- WebStore Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the webstore, including maintaining inventory levels, communicating and preparing incoming orders and verifying shipments and customer pick ups.
- Store Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including maintaining inventory levels, organizing displays, and ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
- Shipment Verification: Verify and execute incoming shipments, ensuring that all products meet the quality standards and are stored correctly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Butcher, Deli, and Finance teams to coordinate activities and ensure a seamless workflow.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback to the management team.
- Staff Supervision: Assist in training and supervising store staff, scheduling shifts, and ensuring compliance with store policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service or retail management, preferably in a food-related business.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with butcher shop operations and products is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service or retail management are advantageous.
Working Conditions
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift heavy items up to 80 pounds, and work in a refrigerated environment.
- Hours: Full-time positions with flexible working hours, including Saturdays and holidays are not required.
