Hourly Wage - based on experience

To provide students, staff, and the public with a safe, attractive,
comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop.
REPORTS TO:
Building Principal and Director of Maintenance and South Campus Custodial Lead
WORKS IN CONCERT WITH:
Director of Maintenance and South Campus Custodial Lead and other District
Custodians
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to operate all District equipment - Floor Scrubber, Square D, Extractor, C3 Machine, etc.
- Sweeps or vacuums classrooms daily and dusts furniture.
- Cleans corridor each school day.
- Scrubs, hoses down, and disinfects toilet floors daily, and cleans all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains.
- Keeps all floors in a clean condition.
- Cleans all marker boards daily.
- Makes such minor building repairs as he/she is capable of and calls on the Director of Maintenance when needed.
- Reports major repairs needed promptly to the Director of Maintenance, Principal, or Superintendent.
- Reports immediately to the Director of Maintenance, Principal, or Superintendent any damage to school property.
- Complies with local and state laws and procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, rubbish, and waste.
- Launders cleaning cloths, mop heads, etc. and sports uniforms as needed.
- Provides assistance to the night activities custodian when needed and requested.
- Participates in in-service training programs as requested.
- Enforces school policies pertaining to job responsibilities.
- Strives to promote safety, health and comfort of all students and employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the administration.
