Borusan Berg Pipe is one of the leading manufacturers of large-diameter steel line pipe in North America. We are a mid-sized manufacturer with three U. S. locations specializing in pipe production for the oil and gas sector. We are seeking full-time Industrial Electricians for our Mobile, Alabama location. Selected candidates must be able to work rotating schedules, which may include nights, weekends, and work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Entry rate : $35.11 per hour
Anniversary % rate increases at 1 year up to 8 years

Primary Duties
Perform all onsite work adhering to safety guidelines for PPE, lock out tag out, fall protection and confined space entry
Follow instructions, hydraulic diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and software necessary to perform scheduled, emergency, or routine repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance
Interpret drawings, sketches, software, plans and determines best work procedures, tools, equipment needed to troubleshoot and repair problems
Use AB and Siemens PLC software to troubleshoot and repair down equipment in a timely manner
install and troubleshoot AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, circuit breakers, rectifiers, electronic controls, control panels, starters, switches, lighting equipment, electronic scales, power distribution, communication systems, inverters and motor drives, conduit and fittings, soldering and replacing parts
Operate equipment including conduit bender, drill press, hydraulic press, bench grinder, pipe threading machine, man lift, forklift, overhead crane, etc
Operate electronic and electrical test equipment. (Megohmmeter, voltmeter, ohmmeter, amp meter, laptop, etc.)
Use Maximo software to log tasks, work assignments, and corrective actions daily
Education & Work Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
Obtain passing score of 65% on electrical knowledge assessment (Required)
