Summary
As a Painter at Berga Constructions LLC, you will play a critical role in enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of residential and commercial properties through expert painting and finishing work. This position is essential in maintaining our reputation for providing reliable, high-quality construction services.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting tasks for residential and commercial properties.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks or holes.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Ensure high-quality results by carefully following specifications and project requirements.
• Assist in minor finishing and renovation projects as needed.
• Maintain tools and painting equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project status, color selection, and any necessary updates.
• Document completed work for record-keeping and client communication.
• Travel up to 50 miles to job sites, if necessary.
• Ensure punctuality and professionalism at all times; tardiness is not acceptable.
• Strictly adhere to company policies regarding substance-free work environments. No drugs, alcohol, or smoking are allowed at any job site.
• Maintain a 45-minute lunch break and be mindful of time management.
• Never discuss any financial details with customers; direct all inquiries to the appropriate company representatives.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of professional painting experience is required; 20 years of experience is preferred.
• Must provide evidence of 15 years of work experience and a recommendation letter from at least one previous employer.
• Expertise in using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment for applying various finishes.
• Knowledge of different types of paints, stains, and coatings, as well as their proper applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
• Must have a personal vehicle for transportation to job sites.
• Must own a full set of tools and equipment required for painting tasks.
