Bergdorf Goodman seeks skilled Lead Cook for our employee cafeteria. The ideal candidate is an organized team leader who is able to develop a varied menu of hot and cold foods, soups, baked goods and grab and go items for the daily needs of our associates.

Responsibilities
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables).
Cook food in various utensils
Check food while cooking to stir or turn
Ensure great presentation by attention to detail
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Check quality of ingredients
Skills
Proven experience as cook (4 years Minimum)
Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a team
Very good communication skills
Excellent physical condition and stamina
High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage
Salary : $24 - $26
