About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Madison Avenue, NJ. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing the care of our residents, ensuring high-quality outcomes while being mindful of cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within accepted practice methods, meeting all center, state, federal, and accrediting standards.
- Evaluates residents' needs and establishes effective treatment plans.
- Manages and coordinates treatment plans with staff and other disciplines as indicated.
- Participates in screening processes and provides feedback on clinical and rehabilitation issues.
- Takes part in center-directed processes and services.
- Showcases effective management of treatment and non-treatment related activities.
- Performs necessary clinical documentation.
- Maintains accurate billing records.
- Assists with marketing efforts as directed.
- Participates in in-service training programs as requested.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current and Active Physical Therapy Assistant license within the state of operations.
- Prior experience or knowledge in older adult rehabilitation is preferred.
- Familiarity with governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings is preferred.
