Job Description:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist who is proactive, highly organized, and can adapt quickly to our fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who not only has experience in medical billing and front desk administration but also embodies a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent patient care. This position will start part-time, with the potential to transition to full-time as the practice continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Desk: Manage patient check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling with a high degree of professionalism.
- Medical Billing: Have prior knowledge regarding medical billing.
- Communication: Follow up with patients as needed. Make calls to doctors and other healthcare providers.
- Office Management: Assist in maintaining smooth office operations, keeping the front desk and waiting area organized, and supporting overall practice functions.
- Adapt to Practice Needs: Be an integral part of our team, anticipating the doctor’s needs and adjusting to any changes in office procedures.
- Technology Proficiency: Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software efficiently to support the practice. Social Media - Instagram.
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical billing (some knowledge).
- Strong telephone skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with patients, doctors, and staff.
- Experience with appointment management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Docs.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A strong sense of urgency and responsibility; ability to anticipate needs and stay ahead of the doctor’s workflow.
- Must be based near Paramus, NJ, or willing to commute.
