About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Regional Service Specialist to join our maintenance team at Berger Communities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents while ensuring the quality and timeliness of repairs and services within our South Central Region.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our Divisional Service Director and Regional Property Manager to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and communicate effectively with team members and community managers.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly and courteously to assigned service requests, troubleshoot, and take the appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within established standards and timelines.
- Assist in completing preventative maintenance tasks and inspections as directed by the Divisional Service Director.
- Inspect grounds, buildings, and other property amenities as directed by the Divisional Service Director.
- Plan for and utilize regional resources, equipment, and supplies economically.
- Communicate effectively with all team members, with an emphasis on regular and ongoing communication with Service Manager and Community Managers at each community within the Region.
- Report all liability and property incidents to the Regional Property Manager and Divisional Service Director immediately.
- Assist with snow removal efforts as needed.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on skills and knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, construction, and carpentry.
- High School or GED required; Trade School or Industry Training is a plus.
- Minimum two years of maintenance experience and/or training.
