Load Planners are responsible for planning a region, managing load yield, maximizing productivity, and improving upon daily margins. Load Planners routinely review Profit/Loss (P/L) for assigned area and find ways to maximize profitability. Load Planners develop a personal and professional relationship with each Dispatcher and Driver Manager that leads to exceptional service, equipment utilization, and retention.

Requirements
- Ensure loads are planned and assigned in full compliance with DOT regulations.
- Meet or exceed weekly company expectations for utilization, productivity, and revenue.
- Coordinate activities of operations to obtain optimal use of personnel and equipment.
- Ensure timely flow of information between the company and drivers with specific pre-plans and dispatches for deliveries.
- Provide effective communication by keeping the Account Manager informed, so they can keep the customer informed.
- Work with Account Management team to ensure enough loads are booked for all trucks entering their respected planning area.
- Contact freight brokers to bid and book loads as needed.
- Regular communication with DMS
- Responsible for maintaining the company’s top value of safety
