Accounting Intern

Type: Full Time Internship

Minimum Experience: Pursuing a college degree in Accounting or a related field.

Role & Responsibilities

As the Accounting Intern your responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to special accounting related projects as assigned.
• Assist in the preparation of journal entries and adjustments as necessary.
• Provide support during the month end close process.
• Collaborate with team members on various accounting functions, including accounts payable & accounts receivable.
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting team and organization goals.
• Ensuring the successful execution of all company operations policies and procedures.
• Delivering the highest level of resident satisfaction through responsive, consistent, positive, and professional interactions.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to deal with a range of ongoing tasks at the same time and be able to cope under pressure.
• Ability to discreetly handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• High level computer skills, especially Excel, but not limited to MS Word, Outlook, as well as the ability to learn to operate Company-specific software.
