Key Responsibilities
- Deliver automotive parts to wholesale customers promptly and courteously.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy and ensure all items are properly accounted for.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while interacting with customers, representing Bergstrom Automotive positively.
- Safely operate and maintain company delivery vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading parts from the delivery vehicle.
- Collect payments or required documentation from customers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department and customers regarding delivery schedules or delays.
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs or issues promptly.
- Assist with parts inventory management, stocking, and organization when not making deliveries.
Schedule: Thursday-Friday 7:00 am to 1:00 pm (plus additional opportunities for hours)
Pay: $15.00-18.00/hour based on experience.
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and move automotive parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with automotive parts or dealership operations is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable operating a wide range of vehicles, from compact electric vehicles (EVs) to larger models such as Ford Transit vans.
- Proficient in basic smartphone operations to efficiently utilize Bergstrom's logistics software and applications for dispatch, tracking, and communication tasks.
