JOB SUMMARY:
3RD SHIFT TEAM LEAD FABRICATOR MONDAY - FRIDAY 11PM - 7:30AM
The responsibility of the Team Lead is to lead the Set up/Fabricator team members as they sets up machines for part runs and creates the components that go into small- and large-scale HVAC products. Daily responsibilities include training, planning, assigning, and directing work, and participating in rewarding good work and elevating disciplinary needs to Supervisors. Team Leads will also be responsible for addressing complaints and elevating personnel issues to the HR department, troubleshooting, supporting safety and continuous improvement. Team Leads will also fill in on the production line when absenteeism occurs at a level that threatens meeting production goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Knowledge of safety and quality practices and expectations. Knowledge of respect for product.
- Knowledge of applicable safety precautions, first aid, and proper use of tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills to operate testing equipment, and ability to effectively communicate.
- Ability to organize the work area and maintain all housekeeping standards.
- Ability to read and comprehend work instructions to assemble HVAC units.
- Ability to properly complete fabrication related documentation including First Piece Inspection Form.
- Understands Safety, Quality, SINEW, Cost, People performance objectives
- Collects and reports data to Production Supervisors
- Presents Team Brief and Stretch It Out exercise methods and allocates daily tasks and relays team goals
- Motivates team to achieve required results and monitors performance of production personnel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Medium to heavy physical effort required. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Regularly required to stand, reach, bend, pull and move about the facility.

The budgeted range for this role is $20 USD - $24 USD per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the desired level of experience for the position.
