Bering Marine Corporation is hiring Deckhands for our fleet of tugs, barges, landing crafts, and hovercraft, providing essential services to some of the most remote locations in Alaska. We move building materials, equipment, and gravel to water-locked villages—navigating some of the most extreme conditions Alaska has to offer.

This isn’t your typical job—it’s an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop maritime skills, and be part of a high-performing team that makes a real impact in Alaska’s coastal communities.

  • Assist with cargo loading, unloading, and securing.
  • Handle tow and vessel lines, ensuring safe docking and undocking.
  • Help navigate the vessel under the supervision of the Captain and Mate.
  • Participate in safety meetings and uphold Bering Marine’s Zero Tolerance policy.
