What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Coach and Conditioning Specialist position at Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC)?
As a Fitness Coach and Conditioning Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strength and conditioning programs for USAF pilots. Your primary objective will be to prepare these individuals for the physical demands of flying operations.
The ideal candidate will have a B.A. or B.S. degree in an accredited exercise science or health science-related discipline, as well as certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). A minimum of 2 years of experience in tactical, collegiate, professional, or Olympic athlete strength and conditioning is also required.
Responsibilities include programming, fitness assessments, one-on-one or group coaching, teaching S&C academics in a traditional classroom setting, maintaining personal fitness and demonstrating quality movement, conducting S&C assessments, designing and updating training programs, and utilizing human performance technology to inform programming and assess athletic performance.
