Job is performed mostly inside building mechanical rooms, overhead space, closets, and basement. Some roof top work. Must be able to work safely off ladders.
Supervisory Responsibilities
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

- Assist and perform needed preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacement of HVAC Equipment.
- Complete PM checklists.
- Perform minor repairs on building equipment as needed during visits.
- Work with subcontractors.
- Maintain excellent customer relations during job performance and interacting with all levels of management.
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- Carry out regular periodic plumbing and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Ability to work safely off ladders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- And all other duties assigned.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
- Should own the hand tools needed to perform maintenance and repairs on the equipment.
- High school education or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
- CFC certification.
- Knowledge of multiple types of HVAC systems. (Mini-Splits, Rooftop Units, Chillers-Air Cooled, etc.)
- Good mechanical/electrical/plumbing skills as related to HVAC equipment.
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 75 lbs.
- Work well with others.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Control knowledge is a plus.
- 10 years of experience maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment or VA Licensed HVAC Journeyman.
