Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Staff Accountant will provide essential financial support and transactional services within the flavor and fragrance industry. This role will collaborate closely with accounting personnel, internal departments, and external parties to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance. The Staff Accountant will be involved in various aspects of accounting, from accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to bank reconciliations and month-end closing activities. Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- AP and AR transaction and reconciliation support
- Bank Reconciliations
- Fixed Assets Management
- Booking Journal Entries
- Collate, copies and filings
- Assist with month-end closing
- GL reconciliations
- Analyze and book credit card expenditures
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Assist with financial analytics
- Assist with gathering and analyzing data from other departments
- Provide administrative support to Sr Finance Manager
- Assist resolution of Vendor or Customer inquiries
- All other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proficiency with MS Excel and other applications
- Ability to prepare, read and analyze Financial Reports
- 2 Years of work experience

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate using both written and verbal communication with diverse work groups, including customers and internal Berje employees
