Quality Control Technician

Job Description Job Description QUALITY CONTROLWe are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working candidate with experience in quality control in a production environment.Hours : 2nd shift : 5 : 30 PM- 4 : 00 AM Mon-Thurs, 3 : 30 PM- 12 : 00 AM Friday

• Job requires training on 1st shiftResponsibilities Include : Develop and conduct a variety of tests on inbound materials from vendors and outbound products for shippingEnsure that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phaseCreate comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions that were takenEducate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product qualityCreate process checklists and coordinate quality inspections with departmental managersOther duties as assigned.Skill Requirements : Good written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsKeen attention to detailAbility to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers, measuring tape, and computersIn-depth understanding of company standardsWork order reading capabilitiesDocumentation and reporting skillsTeamwork and collaborationKnowledge of safe working conditions.Able to work independently.Ability to handle multiple tasksComputer skills : Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of timeAdditional Requirements : High School diploma or equivalent.Minimum three (3) years of quality control experience.Licenses : Must have a valid driver’s license.Pay : Pay for this position will vary based on experience
