The Client Relations Manager at Berkadia serves as a pivotal liaison among various stakeholders including borrowers, Servicing functional business units, Mortgage Banking personnel, trustees, investors, government agencies, and rating agencies. This role is essential in facilitating effective communication and coordination to ensure all parties' needs and regulatory requirements are met efficiently. The manager oversees the flow of information, resolves conflicts, and maintains strong, productive relationships to support successful transaction completions and ongoing service excellence

- Monitor and administer borrower requests, referring them to the appropriate Servicing functional business unit or external party after reviewing loan documents and service agreements, and provide detailed referral requests with necessary documents and investor requirements.
- Collaborate with management on risk assessment and decision-making for loans, including comprehensive reviews of construction draw requests and potential loan servicing transfers, while managing and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Monitor loan-specific trigger events and portfolio-specific reports to ensure timely actions and adherence to Berkadia policies and procedures, and work with functional business units to ensure compliance with loan document requirements and borrower requests.
- Consult with managers and personnel within Berkadia, follow up with borrowers to ensure completion of requests and inquiries, and address problem situations by assessing loan documents and investor guidelines.
- Enhance personal technical skills through training courses and meet annual training hour requirements, review lease documents and enforce approval conditions, and perform other assigned duties.
