What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Aide position at Berkeley College 2?
Under the direction of the COO for Campus Operations, Student Aid provides support to campus departments for customer service, campus reception, and administrative tasks, community engagement, events, and student support.
Duties include, but are not limited to;
Provides general administrative support
Greets students and triages for efficient student support – collects and verifies documentation.
Answers students' inquiries via phone and email on general questions about Academic Advisement, Financial Aid, Student Development and Student Accounts
Works closely with all departments to resolve student issues
Answers department phones
Helps with the registration process
Calls students that have not registered yet for the upcoming semester.
Helps with social media/marketing
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
-Must be a current Berkeley Student, cannot work when the college is closed.
-Excellent customer service, interpersonal communication and organizational skills
-Ability to work effectively with students from a broad range of backgrounds and life experiences
-Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with students, faculty, colleagues
-Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.
-Must be flexible to work Evening/Weekends
