PURPOSE CONCIERGE/FRONT DESK:
The Front Desk/Concierge plays a key role in creating exceptional experiences for the members and guests of Berkeley Hall Club. As the first point of contact, both in person and over the phone, you will provide outstanding service by managing reservations, assisting with event coordination, and ensuring that the Club’s facilities and services meet the highest standards. Your role is essential in fostering a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment, making each interaction memorable. You will be responsible for managing the Golf Cottage Rental Program, supporting the day-to-day operations, and helping to maintain the overall charm and excellence that Berkeley Hall Club is known for.
What You’ll Be Doing: :
As our Front Desk Concierge, you’ll be the friendly face (or voice!) of the Club, creating amazing experiences for our members and their guests. You’ll wear many hats—from answering phones to ensuring cottages are picture-perfect. Here’s a sneak peek at your daily duties:
- Golf Cottage Guru: Help manage the Golf Cottage Rental Program and ensure cottages are in top-notch shape.
- Event Support Superstar: Assist in getting members excited for social events and help with communication and marketing efforts.
- Reservation Rockstar: Take reservations for everything from cottages to River Park activities, dining, and special events.
- Customer Service Champion: Help members with dining, transportation, and local reservations, whatever they need to make their day special.
- Behind-the-Scenes Helper: Assist with club mail, faxes, packages, and always be in-the-know about daily activities and events.
- Phone Etiquette Pro: Greet callers with a smile and provide top-tier customer service, ensuring every call is answered promptly and accurately.
- Bonus Responsibilities:
- Occasionally inspecting public areas and rental cottages for perfection.
- Run the night audit and help with any maintenance issues that pop up.
- Works with Housekeeping organizing the cleaning of all golf cottages
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma (or equivalent).
- Attention to detail and a passion for perfection.
- Intermediate computer skills—if you can rock MS Word, Outlook, and Excel, you're golden.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills—every member and guest is VIP!
