Job Requirements
2-3 Years of experience in the specialty is required
2-3 previous travel assignments
Ortho / Neuro experience is preferred
Schedule Information
Shifts : 8's, 10's, & 12's
Varied start times, primarily day / evening
No self-scheduling for travelers
Block scheduling allowed if it meets the needs of the unit
Weekend Requirement : One weekend day on-call 7a-7p per month
Call Requirement : One weeknight on-call 7p-7a
Unit Specific Information
Unit : OR (Cost Center 72)
Ratios : OR 1 : 1
Charge Nurse : Yes 7a - 7p. They will take circulate cases if needed
Scrubs are provided for RN's & OR Techs
Common types of cases : All surgical cases except Open Heart (a lot of neuro spine, total joints, open fractures), no vascular at this time but will be in August, General, ENT
Additional Details
COVID VACCINE REQUIRED : Fully vaccinated means either 2 shots of Moderna or Pfizer or 1 shot of J&J
Submission Requirements : Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system
Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
Individual unit requirements listed in pulse apply
Travel teams must be submitted together in 1 email
We are only permitted to submit 2 candidates per opening, if the position is at max, we will hold on to the submission if a spot opens up
