Lower Division Kindergarten Instructional Assistant:
Berkeley Preparatory School is seeking a full-time Kindergarten Instructional Assistant for the 2025-2026 school year due to expanding our program. The Kindergarten Instructional Assistant will work collaboratively with a master teacher to plan the instructional program and co-teach lessons to whole and small groups that are both age-appropriate and address individual student needs. Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience and/or training working in an Early Childhood classroom. A good sense of humor, a positive outlook, and an appreciation of the unique qualities of the age group are essential.
Candidates must show a strong willingness to receive feedback regularly, grow professionally, significantly contribute to the life of the school, and will be eager to work in a culturally and ethnically diverse environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
The appointment is available August 2025 and is a full-time position with full benefits.
The compensation package will be very competitive nationally and commensurate with experience, certification attainment, and the national independent school and college markets.
