Job Description:

Under the direction of Associate Registrar, the Registrar Generalist will perform a variety of processes using the three integrated student information systems, Colleague, PowerCampus and Workday Student to maintain the integrity of all permanent academic records in accordance with AACRAO standards and the Berklee College of Music and the Conservatory at Berklee.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Will be responsible for testing and data validation throughout the implementation of WDS.
  • Will be responsible for testing and data validation throughout the implementation of WDS and provide general support as determined by the WDS implementation. This includes, data integrity, dedicated testing of various procedures specific to student records, validate export data under the direction of the Associate Registrar
  • Coordinates all aspects of the semester final grade process for BCM/BCB in Colleague/PowerCampus:
  • Runs reports, updates grading system dates.
  • Distributes and monitors all grade reporting for Final, P/NP, NS, I, Blank to the College and Conservatory Chairs each semester in accordance with the Academic Calendar
  • Oversees the process by which ‘incomplete grades are converted to F’ and NS grades changed to F as needed in accordance with established deadlines
  • Edits, processes and records change of grades from instructors, updates student academic file and notifies students of any changes made to their academic record.
  • Process all student Leave of Absence, Institutional Withdrawal, Medical Leave of Absence, and Judicial Sanctions for BCM/BCB in Colleague/PowerCampus
  • Process all Requests for Reinstatement and updates community regarding student status for BCM/BCB in Colleague/PowerCampus
  • Serves as back-up to the Transfer Coordinator during peak periods according to the Academic Calendar for BCM/BCB in Colleague/PowerCampus
  • Contribute to the Colleague/PowerCampus data cleanup in support of the WDS implementation; transfer articulation database and other data entry as needed.

PREREQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience may be substituted.
  • Demonstrable computing skills and efficiency utilizing complex computing applications in any integrated student information systems. Preference will be given to those with experience in Workday Student, Colleague and PowerCampus.


At the University’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be excepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
