The Portfolio Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing comprehensive portfolio solutions that align with our business objectives and client needs. This role requires a deep understanding of business processes, strategic thinking, and technical expertise to drive successful outcomes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective portfolio solutions.
• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure portfolio solutions that meet business goals.
• Lead the development and implementation of portfolio strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance portfolio solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for portfolio solutions, including architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment.
  
  

Qualifications

• BS or greater degree in Information Technology/Computer Systems Engineering and 5 years of applicable Solution Architecture or Development Leader experience.
  
  

Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on portfolio management and business strategy.

• Strong understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulations (ideally personal lines)
• Demonstrated ability to design composite solutions involving multiple technologies and platforms
• Experience with industry leading platforms for Policy, Claim, Billing administration, CRM, digital engagement, etc.
• Strong technical expertise (Java, REST Services, SQL)
• A continuous focus on Cyber Security, PCI Compliance, GITC
• Proficiency in asset management tools and software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with cloud technologies, enterprise architecture frameworks, and agile methodologies is a plus.
• Calm under pressure, possessing excellent organizational skills, integrity, and follow-through on tasks, able to challenge the norms while working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
