This role will be based in our Urbandale, IA or Westbrook, ME office. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.
Overview
As an Administrative Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Premium Audit team. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the system to ensure proper letters are mailed, reviewing incoming information from insureds and agents, and attaching documents to corresponding audits. You will also assign audits to the appropriate auditor and provide excellent customer service. This role is ideal for a person who wants to build a career in the insurance industry.

We'll count on you for:
- Mail Audit Management: Oversee the mail audit process in our premium audit platform, ensuring requested data is received and audits are assigned to the appropriate auditor.
- System Updates: Maintain and update the premium audit platform with current audit contact information.
- Communication: Collaborate with other departments, insureds, and agents to resolve audit-related issues.
- Production Goals: Meet established production goals while maintaining high levels of quality.
- Stakeholder Relations: Foster good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders (internal and external) and contribute to a cooperative work environment.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sound judgment, decisiveness and exercise common sense to carry out written or oral instructions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Must manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
What makes you stand out:
- 1 years of multi-line, multi-state, commercial insurance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication skills to interface with internal and external stakeholders
- Affinity for navigating multiple digital platforms and tools to access or input key details
- Strong presentation skills in a one-on-one and small group situations to customers, agents, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to keyboard by touch at 50 wpm or better
- Experience with Adobe or Kofax pdf Editor
