Under the direction of the Manager, Regional Underwriting, this position will gain an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry. The Intern will receive on the job training and given the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments.

Responsibilities

- Develop an understanding of the insurance industry from multiple facets
- Achieve a proficiency in the technical and professional skills/knowledge of the assigned position (on the job training)
- Collaborate on projects as assigned and the opportunity to develop an understanding of the insurance industry
- Other duties that will support business strategies
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Knowledgeable and proficient with the Microsoft Professional products in addition to Internet search capabilities
- Previous customer service work experience a plus
